Well apparently I can't keep up with anything.

Today started out with a bird flying as fast as it could into my living room window, hitting the ground, crying and bleeding to death. It was pretty brutal but I went back to eating my breakfast almost immediately. Later on I met my grandparents at EZ's for lunch! We had a fun time and after I went to their house. I had just finished reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest so we all watched the movie! It was great but I'm glad I read the book first! We also tried to find my grandpa's old vinyls...but were unsuccessful. I also helped them learn some facebook type things. After that I went home for a while but soon left to pick up some dinner from Bill Millers, have to get as much as I can in before I go back to Chicago on Saturday! Speaking of I really need to get packing. Anyways after that I just hung around the house. Oh! And so mini-me has been acting really weird lately...like WEIRD! She would always hide in my room or my parent's room and wouldn't eat her dinner in the kitchen. It never occured to me that something might be scarring her in the kitchen until I noticed that she HATED when I would throw anything away, she would freeeeak. So tonight I got her from under my parent's bed and brought her to our kitchen, she started tensing up. Then I brought her to the trash can and she just FREAKED OUT! So Tim took it into the garage. After that she didn't run away anymore! It was a miracle! Night!

Today I woke up and Chelsea and I met Tim at Aloha's for a home cooked hawaiian meal! It was delish bo bish and a fun time. After that I dropped Chels off at home, went and picked up Layne and we were off to the McNay for some good fashioned art viewin'. Turns out the museum closed 45 minutes after we got there so that was a bummer, but we saw a lot of cool print making stuff so that was good. After that we went to Colin's house where we hung around with everyone until dinner. We all went to Los Cucos which wasnt that great...maybe I just didn't like what I got. Anyways after that Layne Colin and I met Eric at the movies where we saw Ponyo! It was so wonderful I loved itttt. After that we went back to Colin's house to hang out for the rest of the night. I'm gonna miss Layne when she goes to Fraaaaance this weekend :/

Today I went over to Ilianna's house and watched Fast and Furious with her and her brother Martin who I havent seen in like 5 months or something and has grown 2 feet...crazy. The movie wasn't good, of course, but I had a good time! I love the Garcia family. After that I went and hung out with Aren at her house..we watched Pom Poko! A movie about these japanese racoons losing their homes. It was cute but kind of weird. Then I went home, woo!

Today Eric came over after work! We made ourselves some sandwiches and then we took a ride in his truck because he wanted to show me the new stacks he got. Haha. Later on Chelsea and I met my dad at The Speghetti Warehouse for dinner then headed over to the fights. We waited an hour for the fights to start only to be told there was a delay because of the weather... So we waited almost another hour to only be told that the fight was cancelled. It was lame and everyone there was LIVID it was pretty funny. That was it for the night!

So today I woke up and went downstairs to hang out with Layne Aren and Dayna...I'm always the last to wake up in their household, haha. After that Layne and I set out for the day. We went to this photo place that I had never been to to pick up her like 6 rolls of 120 film she had taken with her beautiful new yashicamat medium format camera that had been processed. They all turned out! Now she just has to scan them once we go back to school. I'm excited, especially because Layne let me take a portrait of her with the yashicamat. I hope it turns out well. Anyways after that we went to La Cantera to go school shopping for meeee! Layne was my personal fashion consultant for the day. We got so much shopping done it was amazing! After that we hit up the orange cup then went back to her house. We hung out there for a while until we got hungry and decided to rent a movie and pick up La Madeline for dinner. We went back to her house where Hunter and Ilianna met us to watch the movie...we didn't end up watching the movie. But we did have fun hanging out. After that I came back to my house and hung up my new clothes as well as took a ton of clothes out of my closet to give away. Feels good. Goodnight!

Today I slept in, late, because I took simply sleep at 5 in the morning because I couldnt fall asleep. Once I finally woke up I just hung around the house. Then I went over to Layne's house and hung out with the Zolninger family. We discussed our new apt, looked at furniture, painted pictures and watched Golden Girls. All the while there are 25 cheerleaders goin' cray cray back at my house. I think I made the right decision to stay the night at Layne's haha. Night.

Well I think it's about time for me to start back up again with this whole thing. It's almost the end of summer and so many things have happened! I have traveled all over to Indiana, Chicago, Kentucky and even Port Aransas haha. It's been a wonderful summer and I'll never forget it and everyone I met and those I came closer to. So as I end the summer and transition to my second semeter of college I will gladly continue writing about my day. I guess I should start with today, well technically yesterday since it's 3:45 in the morning. 

Today I woke up and got ready to go to church with Ilianna! We went to the 1 o'clock service at CBC and it was pretty good, I think I enjoy the normal service/speaker though. After that we went to Michael's and Walmart to buy supplies to make our own headbands. After that we went back to her house and ate sandwiches while watching Ace of Cakes. We attempted to mke headbands but nothing really was working out because we didn't have a hot glue gun haha. Then my dad called me and invited me to go see the Stoning of Soraya with him at the Bijou so I did and it was good, but sad...and bloody. After that I went over to Hunter's house to hang out with him and Justin Kelley. We watched UFC fights...well, they did. We played some apples to apples then went to ihop. Our waiter really liked us. Then we talked in the parking lot for probably 2 hours. It was a good night. I haven't been able to sleep well lately so maybe staying up so late will help me fall asleep easier tonight. Goodnight!
